How does it work?

  • Step 1 - Assessment

    First we start with a full body assessment to test your upper & lower body strength, your core strength and stability, balance, cardiovascular fitness and mobility & flexibility. We may also take some health markers like your blood pressure, body fat percentage and waist circumference if necessary and specific to your goals.

  • Step 2 - Programme Creation

    I create a programme of exercise and other lifestyle factors that will be appropriate for your current fitness level and specific to your needs and targeted towards the goals we have agreed for you over the next 4-6 week period.

  • Step 3 - Time to workout!

    We go through your programme together (with some solo training if agreed), and ensure you have the correct technique for each exercise, are comfortable with each lifestyle adjustment we are looking to improve and I hold you accountable each week to ensure we stay on track to reach your goals.

  • Step 4 - Re-assessment & Progress Report

    Every 4-6 weeks we’ll have a look at where we are, how far we’ve come, and make the necessary adjustments to your fitness programme and lifestyle plan to keep moving forwards and progressing over the next 4-6 week period.

  • Online Sports Conditioning

    For clients who prefer to exercise in the comfort of their own home, or don’t have much time to travel, Online Sports Conditioning can be an ideal solution to their fitness needs. Each session is delivered one-to-one with Stephen Thompson. Most clients train with a combination of In-Person and Online Sports Conditioning.

  • In-Person Sports Conditioning

    This is a great option for those that live local to Newport in South Wales, Bristol or London and have some extra time to travel to meet for in-person sessions. Minimal exercise equipment means that exercising in nature or at home works well. Most of my clients have a combination of In-Personal and Online Sports Conditioning.
